How much harm can marijuana really do to a person?
Q. I know of someone who smokes marijuana, because they think that it's good for them. But in reality, marijuana is illegal due to the fact that it obviously does more harm than good. I've wondered how much harm marijuana does to a person & what parts of the body it actually harms.

A. Alcohol does the exact same thing as marijuana, it has the same effects and is used for the same reasons. And yet, alcohol is legal while marijuana is not? I don't smoke marijuana, I never will again, but alcohol and marijuana both cause the same mind altering effects and people use them both for the same reason: to become numb and stupid, and to forget about the everyday reality they face in their lives. I don't understand why its illegal. Make both illegal or make both legal. But anyways, if you want to know what marijuana does to you, just look at the effects from alcohol.

How long can a human keep their eyes open without causing harm?
Q. I know we all get that terrible burning sensation, but that's bearable for a good 10 seconds. But can keeping your eyes open for an extended period of time cause harm? If so how approximately how long until the 'damage is done'?

A. i don't think there really is any 'damage' you just blink to keep your eyes moist i mean its okay to keep your eyes open for a bit but why bother? are you in the staring competition world championships? :P teehee just kidding but really, i don't think it can cause harm, it just kinda burns and maybe it's not the best thing for you eyes, but i don't think you're going to die.

A. being on drugs for a while even if your not high at that exact time it still changes the way you think and your beliefs and the things you care about...its more like what doesn't go through a person head when their on drugs...hell i have thought i was a frog before...lol...i think in the beginning its like oh this is so fun, love the feeling etc and after a while you will need more and more to get high but you never have the great feeling anymore, i remember thinking to myself why am i even doing this i dont even enjoy this feeling...but you keep doing it, and you would give up anything for it...and all my friends went the exact same and i now looking back i can see how we all changed, and how our friendship had just turned into another… [cont.]
